Because of problems that I have encountered in shipping, if insurance is not purchased, I will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages when shipping. This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. I will combine shipping to multiple winners. Also, please take a look at my other auctions. In that case, I will refund purchase price only! I do not intentionally hide a defect about an item, but again, you should ask any questions you have before bidding. I do not accept returns or make refunds, unless I have grossly misrepresented an item. Thus, just like at a live auction, this is your opportunity to ask questions, request additional photos or measurements, etc. While I strive to be as knowledgeable as possible, I am not an expert on everything. Please ask questions, if any, before bidding. Also, insurance is required on all International packages. I gladly ship to International bidders, but I do request that you PLEASE email me for shipping cost before you bid! Some of the USPS rates seem to be much higher than bidders expect. This horn is open, and the sound is absolutely great. But it latches just fine. The sound of the horn is loud and smooth, as far as me blowing into it. The case seems to be in good condition for its age (I believe it is the original, as it has the King label on it), although one of the hinges is broken. The mouthpiece looks perfect, and reads Vincent Bach 12 c. A small grease job would make the slide move even better, although it is quite usable as is. The slide moves freely, but is slower in some areas. The lacquer is worn in a couple of places, and t are some minor dings on the throat of the bell section. The condition of the horn is good for its age.
